Winery Sales Assistant

Are you interested in working at SRJC Shone Farm as a seasonal Wine Sales Assistant?
 

Job details:

  • $23.01/hr
  • Up to 24 hours/ week 
  • Schedule can be flexible within Mon – Fri from 8 – 4:30.
  • Availability for work on Fridays & Saturdays may be requested for events throughout the season. 
  • Student must be enrolled in 6 units per semester for Spring and Fall; 3 units for Summer term

 

Duties might include:

  • Assisting with marketing materials including taking photos and crafting content for e-mails and social media
  • Assisting at public events at Shone Farm on dates listed above (could include cashiering, fulfilling orders for customers, helping carry orders to customers cars, pouring wine)
  • Helping with in person and online sales and customer service
  • Working with staff to organize and deliver wine?
  • Loading items (up to 50 lbs) into or out of a delivery van and driving to various locations in the County
  • Using Vinoshipper to create wine club releases, edit club member’s subscriptions, and place orders
  • Creating and sending emails using Vinoshipper and Constant Contact 
  • Using Canva to marketing materials for wine club release parties

Interested candidates should:

  • Have a clean driving record
  • Be familiar and interested in taking photos and using social media to promote the winery and educational programs
  • Have experience in customer service
  • Be familiar with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and be able to learn new programs easily
  • Be organized and detail oriented
  • Be flexible and adaptable
  • Possess an interest in winemaking or wine marketing
