Spring 2026 SRJC Shone Farm Uber Voucher Pilot Program

SRJC Uber ProgramSpring 2026 semester, SRJC is continuing a Shone Farm Uber Voucher Pilot Program to provide students with transportation to Shone Farm who have no alternative means of travel. Criteria include: 

  1. Enrollment in-person Shone Farm class/classes during Spring 2026.
    1. Student must maintain enrollment in Shone Farm class/classes. Uber vouchers will be cancelled if classes are dropped.
    2. Student must not have any other transportation options to Shone Farm available.
  2. Uber travel between SRJC Shone Farm and one (1) of three (3) SRJC locations.
    1. Santa Rosa Campus, 1501 Mendocino Avenue, Santa Rosa, CA 95401 at the Burbank Circle, Paratransit Stop
    2. Public Safety Training Center, 5743 Skylane Boulevard, Windsor, CA 95492
    3. Roseland, 950 S. Wright Road, Santa Rosa, CA 95407
    4. Shone Farm, 7450 Steve Olson Lane, Forestville, CA 95436 at Building 56.
  3. Uber Shone Farm Voucher ridesharing with other Shone Farm students is encouraged, though not required. No rides are allowed for non-SRJC students. 

Details of the pilot program: 

  1. Time limit: Spring 2026
  2. Valid until the voucher expires on your last class up to Friday, May 22, 2026, or when the program is full.
  3. Minimum redemption value: $10
  4. Maximum redemption value: $50
    • Note if the Uber ride is more than the maximum value for a one-way ride, then the remaining financial responsibility is on the student rider.
  5. Tips are not included and the optional responsibility of each student rider. 
     

To Participate: 

  1. SRJC student completes the online form: https://santarosajuniorcollege.formstack.com/forms/shone_farm_uber.
  2. SRJC student will receive an e-mail acknowledging enrollment in the Shone Farm Uber Voucher Pilot Program and instructions on how to participate.
  3. You will be accessing the pilot program through your personal device on the Uber App using a code.

Good Food at No Cost

Free shelf-stable foods from Redwood Empire Food Bank and Shone Farm Produce will be available in the Student Lounge (Center for Agricultural Education, Room #130). During the Fall, fresh produce will be available based on availability.


Academic Counseling 

For Fall 2025, meetings with an in-person counselor will be available the first week of each month, on Tuesdays and Thursdays, from 12:00 to 3:00 PM in the Center for Agricultural Education, Room 120.  An academic counselor will be available on the following dates:

September 2 & 4
October 2 & 7
November 4 & 6
December 2 & 4
